Lupus nephritis management in children
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic and complex autoimmune disease which causes systemic inflammation and may involve any organ system. Childhood-onset SLE (cSLE) is rare, with an incidence of 0.36-0.9 per 100,000 children and a prevalence of 1.9-25.7 per 100,000 children-years worldwide.
