Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (sJIA) and adult onset still disease(AOSD)
SJIA is a systemic inflammatory condition, with both systemic and joint involvement, classified within the spectrum of juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). However, it is believed to be a distinct disease entity with more similarities with autoinflammatory disorders. AOSD is a heterogeneous entity characterized by 4 cardinal features: marked fever, evanescent rash, arthralgia or arthritis, and neutrophilic leukocytosis in the absence of infection, rheumatoid factor and ANA.
