Program Overview

Duration and Timing

  • Total Duration: 10 hours of training

  • Schedule: Friday and Saturday afternoons, 1 PM to 6.30 PM CET

Topics Covered

The program covers 6 key topics, each lasting approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Each topic concludes with a challenging case study.

Friday topics :

  1. When to suspect and how to diagnose a systemic autoinflammatory disease (SAID) in children and adults

  2. Testing for auto-inflammatory diseases: genetics and beyond

  3. Pharmacological treatment of PFAPA/SURF: in which patients and which drugs?

Saturday topics :

  1. Management of monogenic SAIDs: cDMARDS or bDMARDs depending on regional availability

  2. Hematopoiesis and innate immune diseases

  3. Challenging cases : what can we learn?

By train : From the main airports of Geneva, Zurich and Basel, or from major European cities such as Paris and Milan, your journey to Les Diablerets can be made with complete peace of mind on the Swiss Railways (SBB) network.

Closest Airport : Geneva (2h18 train ride)

By car : Les Diablerets are easily accessible via the major Swiss motorways.

Arriving from Lausanne or Valais on the A9 motorway, take the Aigle or Bex exit.

Note : To drive on Swiss motorways, you need to buy a vignette for CHF 40. They can be purchased at customs, petrol stations, post offices or airports. This is an annual sticker that gives unlimited access to all motorways in Switzerland.
